Back then, I was a senior business advisor, with a corner office in a high-rise building, a solid salary, and a corporate career ahead of me.
But the entrepreneur in me was screaming to get out.
By 2014, I’d left my corporate career behind and become a full-time entrepreneur and creator.

It turned out to be freaking impossible.
Over the following years, I changed direction.Turned over every stone.Rebranded four times.Travelled around the world to seminars.Spent $25,000 a year on top coaches and masterminds.Every time I thought I’d finally found the missing piece, I went back and tried again.And again.
Nothing worked.
The absurd part was that I was making the internet work every day in the business I’d built with my partner. Just not for myself.
As long as my partner was the face of the business, I could make things happen.
The moment I had to put myself forward, everything changed.
Same person. Same skills. Same internet.Completely different results.
And then I noticed something even stranger.
I wasn’t the exception.
Everywhere I went, I met people like me. Intelligent, experienced, ambitious people investing extraordinary amounts of money and effort into building their online businesses.
And getting nowhere.
In one inner-circle mastermind, led by one of the biggest names in online marketing, there were ten of us.
Only one was succeeding.
He already had an established business and could apply what we learned to something that worked.
The other nine
were trying to build something from scratch, based on our own expertise and ideas. None of us could get it going.

I became fascinated by the contradiction.

My search for answers took me deep into psychology, coaching, and human development.
It was a long journey. Years of frustration, searching, questioning myself, and trying to understand what was standing in my way.
And eventually, something changed.
In the autumn of 2022, I walked onto the stage at Funnel Hacking Live in Orlando, Florida, where Russell Brunson presented me with the 2 Comma Club Award in front of 5,000 fellow entrepreneurs and online marketers.
I had generated more than $1 million in sales through a single online funnel.
For years, I had known how to make the internet work for someone else. Yet every attempt to build something of my own had ended in frustration.
Now I’d finally done it for myself.
The same person. The same skills. The same internet.
And finally, a completely different result.
I knew what it had taken to get there. The years of struggle. The endless attempts. The money spent searching for answers.
And I knew how many people were still fighting that same invisible battle.
One question kept coming back to me:
What if we’ve been trying to solve the wrong problem?

One winter evening in 2026, a chance conversation with an Australian woman visiting Oslo gave me two powerful realizations.
